Ich hoffe die drei sind nicht schwerer verletzt, das konnte ich dme Artikel nicht entnehmen.
Aber dieser Aufbau ist auch ein absolutes no-go. Soviele Fehler auf einmal sieht man sicherlich selten.

google translate: I hope the three are not serious injured, I could not dme article below.
But this building is an absolute no-go. So many mistakes at once, one sees certainly rare.

I think they are ok, as I understand the article.

I am not sure, but I think this is original roof

    (not for that event)

and could I ask you to write in English, so we could correspond more easily? Schon Danke!

    just to be provocative:

this construction would bring at least one person in jail in germany.

and make it absolutely clear, that that kind of roof was a security risk from the very moment it was constructed...

    1. the lifts that support the roof are at least overloaded and not used in a proper way of balancing the load.

    2. the overload gets worse the more lights are used in the roof.

    3. somebody must have noticed that fact while setting up the "structure"

    4. i've seen worse accidents involving more secure structures because "shit happens"

    The translation is almost right.

Seemed to be the same typ of roof, but the first one is much bigger, I guess 10m x 10m, which is quite long for trilock-truss. Also it ist not wise to use lifts outdoor, the straps may be useful to prevent tilting the roof, but reducing the working-load.

To me, the roof seems good for making shade (Schatten), not for bearing the load...

and now it is good for nothing.

I used to work for ground suppotr company, and we also had some accidents. What was more scarry, the director of the company insisted that we use damaged trusses ("it is missing just a pannel, what could go wrong?"). I was so scared for safety (first for me climbing that roof, and than for serious 'gravity' of the problem), so I left the job...

    and thanks for english!

It's been discussed so many times here:
Lifts are only for lifting during work. Not for holding the load and not for usage with public underneath!
And lifts are no good choice in combination with outside OR roofs.

The sad thing is: the lifts weren't the point of failure...

Another sad thing: this does'nt seem to be build by a very chaep company or someone without any knowhow.

It seems to me, like the middle section of the canapy (joint in the middle) gave up

I don't think so also. I checked the company web sitem they seem to be big...

It´s already said that no professional company in germany would build a roof only standing on Genies. I do also think that the truss collapsed in the gable caused by overload or wind. BTW: Are only Europeans knowledgeable to work with windbracings? I´m not able to see them on both pictures that are linked in this threat.

I´m glad that no person died. And I hope that this accident would have been predictable to any of our forum users!

    Greetings

They got another, much bigger roof:

That was the original roof, I think, but without any load.
Look at the lenght of the bars hanging on it.
