Fixed bugs in V1.70

• Solved a problem with patch changes not working correctly in the MONITOR SOURCE DEFINE view.
• Solved a problem in which if a paired input channel was created using channels patched from Dante, the gain values of OMNI IN ports 1&2 were reset to -6dB.
• Solved a problem that caused audio to stop for a channel inserted to the B side of a RACK EQ when the Rack EQ type was changed to 31BandGEQ.
• Solved a problem in which the manufacturer name of supported 3rd party products was not displayed in the DEVICE SELECT view.
• Solved a problem that caused temporary recall safe to be unintentionally activated when a new channel pair was created by taking a channel from an existing channel pair using SEL keys.
• Solved a problem when switching to SECONDARY Dante link when in Dante redundant mode, did not result in an error message being displayed for the second or any subsequent switchover to the SECONDARY Link.
• Solved a problem in which if the User login view was displayed on both Bay L and Bay C screens and one screen was used to login a user, the view on the other screen was not closed. (DM7 only)
• Solved a problem in which incorrect settings were displayed in the Focus Recall view for channels included in CH Link that had Focus Recall enabled.
• Solved a problem in which recalling the CH Library of an input channel with a Dante patch did not recall the analog gain of HA or +48V on/off values.
• Solved a problem that caused the Secondary IP Address to always be displayed as 0.0.0.0 on the DANTE SETUP (Device Mount) view.
• Solved a problem in which metering was not displayed in the on-screen meter area for Selected CH or SEND MAIN if assigned to a custom fader bank.
• Solved a problem in which fader calibration was not functioning properly.

Known Issues

• After changing the Time Zone, Date, and Time settings in the Date/Time screen of the Setup menu, Dante device discovery, mounting, parameter synchronization, or Dante patch modification of externally connected Dante devices may not function correctly. If this symptom occurs, please reboot the DM7 unit. This problem will be fixed in a future firmware update.
• If the word clock frequency is 96kHz and the delay value of an FX plug-in is set above a certain value, audio on the Right channel may not output. In that case, reduce the delay value.
• If the Dante Primary port and the PC network port are connected to the same network switch, communication may become unstable even if the subnets of the FOR MIXER CONTROL IP Address and FOR DEVICE CONTROL IP address are different. To solve this, Dante Primary and Mixer Control data should run on separate networks, either by being physically separated or by using 2 VLANs.
• If both the Redundant button and the Split button are turned ON when there is no audio signal input in the MADI IN 1/2 terminal of the PY64-MD, a warning "PY Card Error, Internal Connection" will appear on the DM7 utility screen.

Leider ist mir in der Anleitung nicht ganz klar geworden, wie ich auf der DM7 aus den zwei Stereo-Bussen einen LCR Kanal mache.

Da muss es doch irgendwo eine globale Einstellung geben, oder stehe ich gerade auf dem Schlauch?

DU kannst Master B auf Mono schalten ( da wo Du sonst das PAIR für einen Stereokanal machst) und danach im PAN von ST auf LCR umschalten. Mit Shift kannst Du vorher mehrere Kanäle temporär verbinden

Genau das steht auch in der Anleitung - das klappt soweit.
Aber die ST A Fader und der ST B "mono"- Center-Fader sind dann immer noch nicht gelinkt ...

Das kannst Du nur über einen DCA machen, oder schickst die Master in Matrizen und linkst die dann über Channel Job. Bei welchem Pult sind die denn gelinkt?

Ich hätte gerne einen Main Fader, egal ob Stereo oder LCR.

Etwas Oldschool, aber bei alten Roland Pulten (z.B. M400) geht das.

na dann klassisch über Matritzen oder eine DCA.

Fixed bugs in V1.72

• Solved a problem in which faders were sometimes not aligned correctly after fader calibration was executed.

Gibt es denn irgendwo Informationen darüber, was man momentan besser nicht mit einem DM7 macht?

Z. B. 2 Pulte redundant mit einer RiO?

Wir hatten heute echt viele Aussetzer, nachdem auf Daisy Chain umgebaut wurde ging es.

Ich benutze aktuell nur Daisy Chain und komme damit Gut zurecht,das war ja mit den ersten Firmwareversionen auch angeraten.

Ich habe aber Probleme wenn ich IGMP auf den Switches aktiviere, sowohl Daisy Chain als auch Redundant. Die Probleme gibt es dann mit DVS/ Recording, nicht mit dem Pult.

Mit einer RME Digiface Dante Karte spielt es wiederum.

Zwei DM7 hatte ich aber noch nicht zusammen an einer RIO.

Es ist mir bisher nicht gelungen, mein iPad mit Yamaha Stagemix mit einem DM7 oder DM7C zu verbinden.
Pulte hatten/haben die jeweils aktuelle FW (derzeit 1.72).
StageMix DM7 ist aktuelle Version.
Pult hat feste IP ausserhalb DHCP-Range des Routers, mein Router vergibt DHCP an ipad (tausendfach bewährt bei anderen Yamaha-Pulten).

App erkennt das Pult, Connect scheitert aber nach mehreren Sekunden "Syncing with DM7" mit Fehlermeldung "Failed to Connect".
Parallel funktioniert Windows-Editor problemlos und auch Mixing Station auf dem iPad geht.

Hast Du mal das iPad resettet, oder den APin den Einstellungen gelöscht und wieder eingerichtet? Ich habe mit drei verschiedenen iPads( ios 2 x 17.xx, 1 x 18.xx) keinerlei Probleme. Das wird vermutlich ein ios Security Problem sein. iPads die mit ios 18.0 ausgeliefert wurden, funktionierten anfangs nicht, das ist aber seit ios 18.2 und der neuesten Stagemixapp behoben. Ältere iPads, die schon vorher die App hatten, waren davon nicht betroffen.

älteres, aber nicht zu altes iPad. iOS 18.
andere StageMix-Apps an anderen Pulten problemlos (manchmal App-Neustart nötig).
Das ganze iPad resetten? Nö, sorry.

...aber weiterhin im gleichen IP-Bereich ? (also z.B. Router 192.168.10.1, Pult 192.168.10.10, DHCP für endgeräte 192.168.10.50 - .99 )

evtl. Gateway beim Pukt falsch ? (sollte die IP-Adresse des Routers sein)

Was auch hilft, wenn das Tablet in viele WLANs unterwegs ist, einfach mal den Flugmodus für 15 bis 30 Sekunden aktivieren. Das löscht den DNS-Cache, in dem sich mit der Zeit viel Müll ansammeln kann - vor allem bei privaten Netzwerkadressen, die mehrfach in Benutzung sind, gibt's da ab und zu Reibereien in den Netzwerkkonfigurationen.

iPad ist auch regelmäßig im Flugmodus.
Ja, IP-Vergabe wie oben.
Gateway auch beachtet.
Und der Yamaha-PC-Editor funktioniert ja auch auch online. Und Mixing Station auf demselben iPad.

Gateway ist egal, wenn sich alle Geräte im gleichen Netz befinden. Das Pult braucht das nur, wenn es mit anderen Netzen reden können soll.

Falls ja, würde ich das mal deaktivieren, wenn man in dem Remote-WLAN drinne ist....

Hab' schon urkomische Fälle gehabt, wo z.B. der Netzwerkdrucker, der nur dann Funktioniert, wenn man nicht parallel per LTE im Internet ist und solche Spaßigkeiten...

Wahrscheinlich dumme Frage:

Aber in der Dm7 gibt es ja keine "Initial Scene" mehr.

Wie kann ich hier eine leere Scene (Standard) erzeugen ohne das Pult zu resetten (über Select Taste halten vom ganz rechten Kanal und Pult einschalten)?
