Der TBF findet es ja total scheisse-
ich denek aber das der Tom Danley, der Motor bässe erfinder da schon über genug kompetzenz verfügt das zu entwickeln.
ein horn das 35hz mit 108dB bei 1w 1m ud nru 2x12" drückt sit doch geil
4stk sind ind er lage 32hz mit 110 db zu generieren.
wer hätte die Schreinerischen qualitäten das zu bauen ??
eines wäre ca. 1,15mx1,15m x 55cm
das sit so gross wie nen S4 von Clair.
also quadratisch praktisch gut.
Der ESX ist ja auch 1,2m x 90x60cm
der kann ja nur 100db bei 40hz
4 stk hab ich noch nie gemessen.
ich selbst hab auch mal so einen Männer bass gebaut
der legendäre 2x18" 2x15"
der war allerdings nur 1,2m x 1,1m und 60cm
allerdings aus 24mm multiplex.
schenkt sich von der grösse ja eigentlich auch nix.
daten hab ich darüber nimmer.
4 stk sollten es ja schon min sein.
als chasis suchen wir uns eines was ähnlich dem des erbauers ist oder besser.
das Chasssis ermitteln wir mit div. teststellungen oder so.
Auch würde mich interssierne ob Adam hall schon welche der Coustom made chassis verkauft hätte.

I think the 12" decision came down to a size tradeoff -- the dual 12" solution allows similar displacement to the use of larger drivers, and because of the smaller required back chambers (and smaller drivers), more horn can be fit into a smaller box. See Tom D.'s post "Sticking a fork in it, the next step," dated 2/4 (link below).

In that post, Tom says that the ultimate high-output solution would be Seismic 18's, and mentioned posting the specs of a bigger box using an 18" driver, but I never saw that info -- Tom, did you ever work up those numbers?
